Reverend Kirklin D Hall Sr., Pastor Kirklin D. He was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age and was baptized by the late Reverend R. V. Davis (his Godfather) of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Albion “November 7, 1956”. As a youth he had his struggles with being steadfast in his beliefs or conforming to the pressures of life as a teenager and because of his great love for sports and the desirer to be accepted by his peers. In all his struggles he made his share of mistakes, but could never forget what he was taught as a child by his parents and what he learned in church. Pastor Hall was a member of the first regular high school class to graduate from the newly built “Albion High School” in Albion, Michigan in 1967. Following graduation he was hired at Albion Malleable Iron Company on his eighteen-birthday and October 16, 1967, he started as an Electrical Apprentice (only the third black person to go through the electrical apprentice in the plant at that time). He successfully completed the program becoming a Journeyman Electrician in 1971. Pastor Hall and his family move to Lansing, Michigan in “May 4, 1981” where he started working for than know “Fisher Body of Lansing” as an electrician. He was later appointed by Local 602 in October of 1990 as the UAW International Skill Trades Ergonomics Representative and later he became the Coordinator for the new car line project called “GMX 130”. He attended LCC where he received his associate degree in “Electrical-Mechanical Degree in Arts and Sciences”. He studied very hard and received his “Electrical Masters and Contracting Licenses” from the State of Michigan. In 1989, Pastor Hall accepted his calling to the ministry under the Late Reverend Charles S. Tolbert and was given his License as an Associate minister at Galilee Baptist Church of Lansing, Michigan on May 5, 1990. Two years later Pastor Tolbert Ordained Him as a “Baptist Minister” on May 16, 1992. In 1990 Pastor Hall was also appointed to the Local 602 Chaplaincy Board member and volunteer Chaplain (under the Reverend Aaron Milton the first UAW fulltime chaplain) where he served until the June, 2003. Pastor Hall also served as an “On Call Chaplain for Sparrow Hospital” and became a certified “Forgotten men’s ministry chaplain” for the prisons and jails. Pastor also served as the Youth Director for the CCDMBA Inc from 1992 until 2003 when he was elected in 2003 to serve as “Dean” of the District. Pastor Hall has a great love to ministering to the children, youth, and seniors and is totally devoted in serving God and Galilee Baptist Church Family. For
